Terms of service

1. The service

PrepUp is a practice tool. AI interviewers run mock interviews, and the reports score your answers against a rubric. It is not a recruitment service and has no connection to any employer named in a case or a recruiter list.

2. Scores are practice feedback

Scores, verdicts and feedback are generated by AI to help you practise. They are not a prediction or guarantee of how any real interviewer or company will assess you, and they can be wrong. Use your own judgement.

3. Your account

• You sign in with a Google account and must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian's permission.
• One account per person. Keep access to your account to yourself.
• You are responsible for what you upload, such as your resume. Don't upload other people's personal data.

4. Fair use

Don't misuse the service: no automated access, scraping, attempts to break or overload it, sharing paid accounts, or using it to generate content unrelated to interview practice. Unlimited plans are subject to fair use for one person's own preparation; we may limit accounts that go far beyond that.

5. Plans and payments

The free plan includes a limited number of interviews. Paid plans and their prices are shown on the pricing page, inclusive of all taxes. Payments are processed by Cashfree Payments. Refunds follow the refund policy.

6. Content

Cases, interviewers, rubrics and the PrepUp brand belong to us. Your answers and resume remain yours; you allow us to process them to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy. Cases are fictional and any resemblance to real companies' figures is coincidental.

7. Availability

We aim to keep PrepUp available but don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue a paid plan you are using, we will refund the unused portion.

8. Suspension

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. You can delete your account at any time.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, PrepUp is provided as is, and our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and ₹1,000. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud or gross negligence.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Gurgaon, Haryana have exclusive jurisdiction.
